Welcome to MullersToMexico.org.
Thank you for visiting this web site, we pray that it will be informative and allow you to see first hand the work God has allowed us to be a part of in Chetumal.
We trust the Lord will bless as you read it over and get aquainted with the Muller Family, missionaries in Mexico since 1999.
In 1999 we arrived in the rural area of Campeche called "The Chenes" of "The Wells". This area of the Yucatan Peninsula is the home to the Maya descendants. Under the ministry of Pastor Victor Cu Pantí, we learned much about the distinct culture, its language and successful methods to reach this people group with the gospel.
We began by working in a small village of 400 people called Crucero San Luis. We established the Crucero San Luis Baptist Church and under Pastor Victor's direction we left it with a graduate of a national Bible Institute named Juan Huichin. In 2001 we inagurated the church building with close to 95% of the village in attendance. Today, the church continues and is preaching the gospel, training servant leaders, and lifting up the name of Jesus in this precious village.

Under Pastor Victor's guidance we moved to another rural village of Santa Rita, population 1000. There we worked and the results of God laboring in us was the Santa Rita Baptist Mission, still maintained by Pastor Victor and the Baptist Tabernacle of Hopelchen to date. This mission work has provided much hands on ministry experience for the young men called to preach out of the Baptist Tabernacle of Hopelchen.
In 2003 we moved by the Lord's providence to another pennisulan state called Quintana Roo. The city of Chetumal became our home for the next 6 years after a small stint in Merida helping an American sent missionary. Chetumal boasts of 300,000 people and is over all an affluent, educated citizenry. We began the work in our living room and the church grew in numbers and minstry.

We rented a building and began to hold services there in the summer of 2003. The Lord blessed and the work grew wonderfully.

We moved to another location after some issues with the owners of our rental facility. There the Lord blessed in a great way.

In 2007 Calvary Baptist Church of Chetumal bought their own piece of land and began building a place of worship. In November of 2008 we turned the church over to Samuel Castro, a graduate of the Calvary Baptist Bible Institute. The church body gave a hearty amen! They support brother Samuel full time and are currently praying about taking another young man, Fernando Aguilar, our first fruits in Chetumal as Assistant pastor.
Calvary Baptist continues to preach the saving gospel of Jesus Christ reaching the souls of Chetumal one by one. This church plant supports 7 missionaries, one of the largest youth groups in the city, 11 Sunday school classes, three Childrens church ministries, 4 bus routes, Soul Winning, Annual Fair Ministry, MIssions Conferences and much more. We praise God for the privilege of allowing us to work in this city and train some of the most precious men and women of God serving Him anywhere.

Samuel Castro, graduation night. Samuel's ordination.

A regular evening service of preaching Samuel continues the work in Chetumal
